What we collect
Your account details (name, email, and an optional username), the stories and annotations you create, and technical information required to deliver the site (cookies for session, basic request logs).
Reading activity
We record which stories you’ve started and finished so that “continue reading” works across devices. Reading progress is private to you and to the author (aggregated, not per-reader) unless you explicitly share a reaction or comment.
How we use your data
To operate the platform: authentication, delivering stories, sending notifications you’ve opted into, and supporting writers with aggregate analytics on their own work. We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your controls
You can edit or remove your stories, your annotations, and your profile at any time from the settings page. Account deletion removes your published work and all derived signals.
